Group Show at Marion Royael

March 13, 2011 – 12:27 pm

I got accepted to have a spot in a group at The Marion Royael Gallery in Beacon, NY! Thanks to: Steve and Barbara at Marion Royael for “putting the kid in the picture” (me!), as well as the awesome d00ds at a Make a Frame, Casey Franks, Jordan Farray, Christine Hart and my mans.

Two for one

February 20, 2011 – 11:02 am

So, I’ve been a busy girl. Inspired by the NYC 99cent pizza wars that could only, in my mind, be the result of an ancient magical property that 99cent pizza holds, I created the Pharaoh’s Secret BEFORE the Egyptian overthrow.
Additionally, I created a punky little number called “Quittin’s Cool” to reflect anxieties about being put in a box at the job and rising astronomical cost of education. You know, stuff.

No Contest!

January 11, 2011 – 3:01 pm

In an ongoing exploration and experiment in showing the world that abstract artists with a style that defies categorization, CAN in fact, illustrate and represent brand identities to the masses in a provocative and intriguing manner, I present my latest. While sick with the stomach flu, I used my illusion to create a piece for the Pernod Absinthe art contest. Enjoy!

The Art of the Office

June 20, 2010 – 10:53 am

Hi All! I recently submitted a drawing to a creative blog that calls for submissions of art made in the office. They were tickled by it and decided to feature me!  Please enjoy my wonderful xsan team HERE!

An oldy but a goody

June 11, 2010 – 1:02 pm

Hey all, I didn’t post this one earlier because it was snatched up by JW Snarl at my show this past winter. This one was a bit a breakthrough, as I said goodbye to control while ruminating upon all that has a hold on me.
Presenting: “Tech Garden” 3ft. x 2ft.

U Mad?

May 16, 2010 – 2:52 pm

Welcome to my largest piece yet! (4ftx5ft) I have to say that it’s pretty hard not be wound too tight these days. All too often, however, whomever is the loudest or angriest, tends to think their ideas are truest. Well, let’s slowly just put down the rage-a-hol, try thinking, and ask “U mad?”. Also, please see “U mad?”‘s appearance in my latest show- a group show called “Full Effect” at Littlefield in Broooklyn! (see lower post).

Owning it.

October 19, 2009 – 7:17 pm

This one is about as personal as I get. Maybe one day I’ll be able to go into detail without being annoyed at the sound of my own narrative. Until then, enjoy my dirtiest, roundest (!) painting yet.
