About Happiness Island

Happiness Island is real place in a public garden deemed by my friends and I as “a place where no mere human mortal could tread” as it is roped off, but enticingly still, there is a bridge that goes right to it! Indeed, it represents the illusive paradise we modern day folks seem to seek, yet remains just out of reach. Currently, it serves as a happy home to cuties such as small turtles, cranes, and koi.

Needless to say, it is now the title of the place where I dump my astoundingly prolific visual works. ;)

Existential crisis’ aside, Happiness Island is mainly a place of comradery and inspiration built on the sheer will to be creative. In the spirit of my personal Happiness Island, I would like to share with you the below portrait depicting a jolly good time among friends. (I’m the one whose hand is on the shoulder of the “cowboy”.)
